Is anyone else..

Still hoping to see Azriel's mom in the next books , especially having Elain meet her ?. Cause I personally don't see NOT seeing her as she ia very important to Azriel and his story .

How do you think her relationship with Elain will be like ?

Is there a chance ....

That it could still be Elriel PoV solely ? I mean Elain is a seer and I highly doubt Elain is going to stay stagnant (character development wise) in the next books .

IC in a PJO AU

I have been into PJO lately so I have been imaging how the IC would into the universe . I think :

Feyre would be the daughter of Athena (Cabin 6)

Rhys would be the son of Aphrodite (Cabin 10)

Elain would be the daughter of Hecate ( Cabin 20)

Azriel would be the son of Hades (Cabin 13)

Nesta would be the daughter of Nemesis (Cabin 16)

Cassian would be the son of Dionysus ( Cabin 12)

Mor would be the daughter of Apollo ( Cabin 7)

Amren would be the daughter of Ares ( Cabin 5 )

Azriel friendships

Rather than see Azriel's friendship with Nesta , I'd like to see his with Nuala and Cerridwen . Unlike Nesta and Azriel , I wholly believe he has an organic and deep friendship with Nuala and Cerridwen.

I think Azriel has a great bond with Rhys and Cassian but I think Azriel's spirit is really strong so it often causes friction within the dynamic . Ex : bonus scene , we later find oit Rhys and Azriel threw snowballs with rocks in it at eachother

I don't think he has much of a friendship with Mor and Amren (don't attack me)

I think the small part of Azriel and Feyre's friendshio we got to see was cute but once again , I really don't think it is deep

We haven't seen much of them but I truly believe that Nuala and Cerridwen would be able to connect with Azriel on a deeper level than anyone else (except Elain). I think it's cute that they listen to Azriel over Rhys .

Which (sidenote) , I believe proves even more that their friendship with Elain is going to be off the charts in 6 , 7 and 8 .

Also hot take : Azriel and Nesta do not have a friendship . He was kind to her and even showed her more grace than she deserved really but she doesn't reciprocate it (as seen in CC3).

Elain's possible powers

I know we have talked about Elain getting life powers because of the de@th powers Nesta has / had but I wonder if the Cauldron gave her more than we expect .

What if Elain gained the power of "reality warping" . Since there isn't really one concrete explanation of it , here is a link to what it esentially is (this is the explanation according to the PJO universe) : https://riordan.fandom.com/wiki/Mystiokinesis

I think this power is complementary to the power of sight / clairvoyance Elain already possess . Elain went into the cauldron first so I do really believe she more likely has reality warping powers rather than the "opposite" powers of what Nesta stole .

I need Nesta and Cassian speaking about Elain with respect in the next books

I am personally tired of them talking bad about Elain and not even thanking her after she saved their lives .Then reading about Nesta taking credit for Elain's k!ll is exhausting to see .

Edit : For Cassian I meant it as his inner thoughts about her .

Does anyone want little to no Nesta in the next books ? (6,7 and 8) ?

I genuinely am so repulsed whenever I see how much Nesta's own words contribute to the misogynistic hate that Elain gets . How Nesta's ignorance encouraged her fans to try and reinforce some of the most heartbreaking misogynistic rhetorics .

As much as anyone can say "but she was hurting" it doesn't change the fact that she couldn't even think about Elain in a nice way . Not even once . Elain being malicious theories comes from Nesta's own mind .

Feyre getting hate for not telling things that aren't hers to tell

I constantly see Feyre get hated on for not outing Mor and for not telling Lucien that his father is Helion .

For the first one we all know why it is wrong . The second however is just Feyre's theory and people seem to forget it . Worst part , Feyre gets called a bad friend for it and I'm genuinely confused as to why since Lucien has always been worse to her .

The chronically online ACoTAR fandom annoys me

They constantly mock Feyre's previous illiteracy (which is ableist) but still don't understand why Elain didn't plant vegetables . You would think they would know with their amazing reading prowess and brilliant comprehension skills , since it was mentioned in the first book .

I wholly believe 6,7 and 8 are just Elriel books with their PoV's and only their story but ...

Do you think after their book they (as in both Elain and Azriel) will be heavily involved in saving Vassa in the Vassien novella ? . I have mixed thoughts about it . Part of me wants them to be involved the other part just wants them to get a break and just relax before the big threat of Koschei actually comes

I truly wanted my contribution to this sub to only be centred around Elriel

I really wish people would stop coming in here and causing ruckus in the sub . Why are they here hating on Elain , Azriel or Elriel as a whole ? . They keep using the excuse that they are here because they "want to hear all perspectives" can they not just do that quietly ? .

This is not the space to talk about the "Elucien set up" and "Azriel's red flags" . Let me not speak about the antis talking about us having a bias , like what do you think is going to be the preference in an Elriel sub ?.

I for one find it extremely upsetting to see this in a safe space . It's extremely selfish and cruel to come here , start fighting with people and then play victim . Like many other people, I came here cause I was exhausted from the negativity in the acotar sub towards Elriel , especially the misogynistic Elain comments

Elain losing her powers argument is ridiculous

Some fans keep saying that later on or even in the next book Elain will lose her powers . It has always been so nonsensical to me because the only argument they have that (not really) makes sense is "Nesta lost her powers in ACoSF" . Nesta had stolen her powers while Elain had them gifted to her .

Nesta was always going to lose her powers , it was obvious . For Elain the only thing obvious is that the cauldron gifted her more powers than we currently know of or her seer powers are alot more extensive and stronger than we already think . This is saying alot because an Elain as an untrained seer was able to not only able to come at the perfect moment to save Nessian but also k!ll the KoH .

As an untrianed seer she was able to navigate her powers enough to tell the IC (and us) so much about Koschei . As an untrained seer she was able to locate the Suriel .

I for one am very excited for the next books . What do you think ?
