Due to memorial day Monday and some PTO taken, I have a 5 day weekend starting tomorrow. I'm going to try and use the time to study and read, but I just know that I'll get bored and would like to do something at some point. Does anyone know of anything happening in the next 5 days? Or better yet - is there a website anyone recommends finding events in the area?
Would most likely buy an x3 to go with my x4 (one I like less would just turn into the backup) but I really only want to go through Amazon to purchase them…. Anyone see anything that gives them the feeling it’ll come to Amazon anytime soon?

Its funny, I got my first kindle YEARSSS ago and have owned probably 3-4 since then. My family is also big on them with my brother, mom, and grandma all owning several as well. Maybe we're just cheap but we never paid the extra 20 or so dollars to get the ad free version.... im curious if we are in the minority on this? Do most people pay to not have to be hit with capitalism every time they pick their reader up?
I’ve done some digging and it seems like the Free2 is probably the best page turner for the X4. Being in the US I usually default to Amazon, and I’m happy to report that it is now available there for prime shipping!
Quick note to anyone who wants to get one off of there: make sure to select the “android” version of this guy. There are other options and I originally purchased the one that said it is compatible with the kobo since it’s another e-reader and I assumed it would be the same… that one did not work but the Android one does, for whatever reason.

I switched to the drunkpenguin cross point which supports Bluetooth page turners. I bought the free2 off amazon and selected the one that is for “kobo/laptop usage”. I’ve tried to connect this thing but it won’t show up on my Bluetooth search….
Is there anyone that’s willing to help?
Would love to use a page tuner but also don’t want to go away from cross point… any chance they added this yet? I can’t find anything online
Just curious how many bought one to sit in their sock drawer in case the one they carry around stops working. I kind of want to as I’m a paranoid person but that would sort of ruin the fact that one of the main benefits of this thing was that it was inexpensive
Just checked and sure enough, you can now get the official magnetic flip case on their Amazon page! They also added regular, matte, and tempered glass screen protectors.
