120mm AIO with Jonsbo Z20

Anybody tried a 120 AIO with a jonsbo z20 and a 100watt-ish CPU?

I'm looking to optimize the cooling in my Z20. I recently upgraded to a slightly hotter GPU and everything has been running a bit hot. Admittedly I only have 2 120 exhaust fans at the top and nothing else. Cpu is air cooled with a PA120 and doesn't pull over 100w under synthetic load.

I bought a motherboard to replace my current one becuase the first PCIe slot on it is shifted one slot down, which restricts my options to slim fans in the bottom.

With the motherboard replaced, I have multiple visions moving forward. I'm looking to maintain positive air pressure inside the case..

Vision 1: 4x140 mm fans. Two bottom intake and 2 top exhaust. With a 120mm AIO (most probably Thermalright Frezon Notte 120)mounted at the back and pulling fresh air.

Vision 2: 2x140 bottom intakes and rear 120 intake. 240 AIO mounted at the top.

I also have other nuanced visions where I want to install a 3.5" HDD in the bottom with 2x120 or a 140+2x70mm fans.

Used 4080 or brand new 9070XT at a similar price?

Hi. Basically the title. Current system relevant specs:

240hz 1440p panel

Pure Power M12 850w Gold PSU

7800x3d

32GB 6000 cl36

Current GPU: 7800XT.

The only reason I'm upgrading is that I like to make small changes every now and then.

I picked up a Dell 4080 OEM locally for $650. And I also have an order in place for a 9070XT at 650 + taxes. Not sure which to keep.

I mainly play Valorant, which isn't particularly demanding to run.

I guess the 4080 will retain its value more over time. What do you think?

I did a search in this sub and found the same question answered 3 months ago. Having CUDA cores and slightly better overall performance is nice. And at a slightly lower price, it's a no-brainer.

Z170 Chipset / 6600K in 2026?

I'm currently outside the homelab circle and I wanna start somewhere. I'm starting simple, a NAS server with TrueNAS.

I'm eyeing a MB/CPU combo that are $100. The board has plenty of SATA ports, m.2 port which will be utilized for cashing, and dual Intel Gigabit NICs. Gigabit is enough for me.

Should I go for this combo? Or are there other, more cost effective options?
