I am Filipino and wanted to go to take my fiancé to the Philippines for our honeymoon January 2027. I was wondering what people in the Philippines at the moment think about us travelling to Manila and then island hopping around , or just going to El Nido. Do you think it’s a bad idea to book now because of fuel shortages? Like if we booked a flight from Manila to el nido and potentially the travel there getting cancelled because of the shortages?

I really would love to show him the Philippines. But if if locals really think everything going on with the trip would interfere I want to know if I need to start thinking of another destination

It’s a 50s period piece. Should I wear a full on vintage 50s outfit or just something 50s inspired? Not sure if it’s too “obvious” to wear a full 50s outfit. Would love some ideas too if anyone has any on outfits.
