I don’t understand the timing of self tanning?

Hiiii! Obligatory if really new to this. I’ve used self tanner once and for the first time last month as a trial run to see if it would work for me. I think it went okay! I’m a very anxious person/over thinker and just want to elaborate on the timing of things. I’m using Loving Tan’s 2 hour express Medium, im really fair skinned and im just trying to make a dress for an upcoming wedding im a bridesmaid in work. I see all the “pro tips” say to shower, exfoliate, shave 24hours in advance, i did this, let my tanner sit for 3 hours, then rinsed, and avoided leaving my house for the next 12 hours for it to finish processing with me sweating as minimally as possible. I live in an extremely humid climate and do not have good AC, I felt like I still was a little splotchy namely around my armpits and chest. Being that the climate i live in is so humid i feel awful not properly showering for approximately 36 hours to be honest, am i possibly misunderstanding the time frame? Can i shower again with relatively cold water to open my pores as little as possible a few hours before using the self tanner? And also im coming up on a very busy couple of days, what’s considered the “safe” period of time to start doing normal things like going out for walks/activities after rinsing the product off? Any advice you have is greatly appreciated!

Hello! I recently moved from the US to Japan, Okinawa. I have a bunch of ryobi tools that I brought from the US. I’ve run into the problem that none of my batteries will charge on the chargers now and from what I understand it’s that they need 120v whereas Japanese electrical outlets offer 100v. Someone told me I should be able to just get a power converter online but to be completely honest I don’t really understand what I’m looking for, at, how they work, or if this is even on the right track?

As a side note I don’t know that this is truly the issue; when I attach the batteries to their chargers they flash green and red which is supposed to indicate a faulty battery, but all of my batteries functioned normally just prior to the move. I really just want to be able to cut my yard :(

Edit; thank you for mentioning to check my hardware stores, I’ll look tomorrow. Regardless of my oversight; id still like to learn how converters work lol.
