No equipment needed and no need to have played before. It's completely free and open to all ages even if you've retired from Junior B.

[05/07/2026] Try Gaelic Handball (free and no equipment needed!)

This Sunday at the Stockwell Hall of Fame from 10am-12pm there's Gaelic Handball.

What is Gaelic Handball? It's simply squash but with only the front wall and your hands. It's fast, fun and easy to play. Here's a video of the game being played in Nantes https://youtu.be/XMELnjbDM6I?is=BNW0djfS00f7zcWx

It'll be a relaxed recreational session where you want need to know anything about the sport or need any equipment. No need to turn up at 10am, turn up when you want. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Gaelic Handball in Edinburgh 27th June

If you're a GAA fan in Scotland come along to the Scottish One Wall Handball event. As well as a competition for experienced players, there's recreational play and coaching to teach you how to play. There will be all ages from youth to 60+ coming along.

Gaelic handball is the lesser known of the GAA codes, it's non-contact, easy to play yet fast and exciting. It's the Irish version of pickleball and padel so if you like those you'll love this Gaelic game.

[21/06/26] Try Gaelic Handball in London

Sundays 10am-12pm at the Stockwell Hall of Fame.

It's an Irish sport that's played like squash with your hands, no equipment needed and open to all! It's a social relaxed game that's really simple but exciting and in New York there's 2000 courts. It's an informal session and we all learned to play as adults.
