Will the AIP diet help my Accutane induced dry eyes?

Hi guys, first time posting here....

As the tittle says, I have dry eyes that started when I was taking low dose Accutane and life has been hell...

I took it for 5 months (derm told me to continue, that they will go away...)

Im 16 months since stopping, still no relief....

Started AIP 4 days ago, I eat only meat (just chicken for now), vegetables as a side, fish and fruits.

Also only drink water and supplement omega3, omega7, luten and zeaksanthin, astaxanthin and magnesium glycinate before bed

Day 4 and honestly im feeling a little worse than I did before, dont know if its normal....

So yeah looking for tips and experiences because Im really feeling suicidal lately...

Is my thyroid the missing piece of the puzzle?

Hi everyone!

Did some exensive bloodwork. Most of it was to find out my vit D, B12 and feritin levels, because they can worsen dry eyes if they are low, BUT I also checked my thyroid hormones.

The results are that my TSH is quite high 6.794mIU/L
FT4 is 13.7pmol/L
FT3 is 5.57 pmol/L

FT4 and FT3 are at the lower end of the normal range (10.0 for FT4 and 4.26 forT3)

Will be doing bloodwork for antibodies, possibly a thyroid ultrasound.
Im a 23y male been struggling with dry eyes for over a year.
Dont know if its Hashimoto or not (will see that after the blood test results), but im not sure if maybe its what I was missing this whole time?

Anyone here has tyroid issues and managed to relieve or cure their dry eyes after controling that?

Looked up some simptoms of hypothyroidism and I do have fatigue and depression, but I would say that fatigue is from depression and low blood pressure because im megadoseing on omega3 (for my dry eyes) and I would say that the depression is from my dry eyes and me now being satisfied about my life (and cant do much about that because of my eyes, very sad...)

So yeah, been expolring dry eyes for a long time, but this is defo something I know nothing about. Hope to year your stories and thoughts.
