Xperia 1VIII 5.8, 10 & 17.5 x macro mode.

Discussed here before, I will be trying out long range macro if its good.

Housefly shots done by touch autofocus, all 3 at around 15-16cm away, handheld (need to be super stable though). The other photos shot in manual using peaking. By comparison of the longest zoom shot, its quality is better quality than 360mm telemacro of 1VII.

"Quick Share needs critical permission to function. Please grant them to continue."

It just stop at the "Grant permissions" button, and when I pressed it, it only gets highlighted and nothing happens on my Xperia 1VIII so I cannot do transfer. Closed all applications and did a proper restart but same results. Anybody has the same issue? How about the other phones? My firmware is 73.0.A.2.53, but previously I can transfer between my phone and my laptop...

Hope its Google issue.

New firmware remove USB file transfer

I noticed that new firmware disabled USB file transfer to PC, my Xperia 1VIII and 10VII lost the USB connection selection option, guess they encourage Quickshare??

Xperia 1VIII's 16mm & 24mm camera algorithm improved over Xperia 1VII again!

Watch using highest resolution and then pause the shots and compare. Can see improvements again! So Sony have still yet to fully optimize the 24mm sensor as predicted.
