Any accountant jobs?
Hello!
I see all these posts about the big tech jobs and what not. I used to be in tech industry but jumped ship since I wasn't able to go to a top school and I cant motivate myself to code outside of school
Swotched to accounting and personally love it so far. Was wondering if theres anyone on here willing to share any Info they have on the accounting/ finance world of clearance jobs.
Should I even consider getting another cleared job?
Hello, im currently a guardsmen with a Secret clearance. T3
I am eyeing this certain job within the DHS sector that would give me a DHS clearance T5.
However I do have the following issues and trying to work on them but been strapped little financially.
- Have 2 things in collections. 1 is a 329 dollar sprint bill that has been in collection for more than 7 years at this point. Long story short I was a idiot when I was younger and thought the debt will clear after 7 years byt they keep pushing the date back on it.
The 2nd debt is a 880 dollar medical bill that I received awhile ago after I got hospitalized during training. I gave the bill to my unit and they didnt do jack shit with it at the time.
- My student loans are currently alittle behind but I am currently in school. Just took a break when my son was born and plan on starting back up in the fall.
Green flags:
No criminal history
No drug use EVER
Not a complete dumbass
Thank you
What should I be doing now for my claims to go smoothly for when I get out of service?
Hello Army National Guard here.
I am going on a T10 deployment that I will have access to Tricare Prime remote while im deployed.
I was wondering any advice for getting my claims in order so I dont have to fight an uphill battle when I separate?
For example ive had terrible GERD while i was on my last deployment and was too scared and bullied into getting treatment for it. Any and all advice will be appreciated!
Claims without enough evidence
Hey everyone, National Guard here.
I am wondering if it’s a good idea to file claims that I don't currently have military evidence for? To clarify, I am trying to file a claim for a condition that I have been seeing a civilian doctor for under TRICARE. I am not one of those guys trying to get 100% next month, but this has been a recurring issue for me.
I want to say it’s sinusitis, but every time I’ve been to the doctor, none of the medications have worked.
I have had this issue for years. On my last deployment in 2020, I was denied and bullied by my first-line leader for trying to go to sick call or the doctor for it.
If it helps, I also have a Title 10 deployment coming up where I plan to finally get documented treatment for it.
The baseline question is: should I submit a claim to the VA now, possibly get a 0% rating for it, and then try to get an increased rating in the future?
Thank you.
