The “SB” before SB. Aka Dunk Pro-B.

There were 5 colors released in 1999 - notable differences in Pro-B vs early SB. Arch support insoles later replaced with the still used zoom air in insole 2002, super wide flat laces instead of ovals (oval laces DID come with most pro-b’s after 1999, at least the ones with fat tongues), a slightly shorter padded tongue with elastic straps sewn in a little higher up towards the top of it (they kind of hug your foot a little better, at least in my experience) and finally, most pro-b models had the NIKE logo on the heel tabs embossed and painted, rather than embroidered (some later pro-b models did have embroidered logos tho).

These older cw’s with the quiet base but loud laces and logos were such amazing mixups. Lightning pro b, Jedi, etc.

Happy to have a bandaid back in my collection. Had two at one point one got skated the other got sold on eBay when I had a “mid life crisis”.

19 year old me would either be super proud or think I was a loser for not having both versions by now.

Were these just a small Europe exclusive or can we still expect a drop in the US? The resell prices on them has gone fucking bonkers 😂
