My latest horror jam game! I went for like, "Cozy horror" vibes. I really tried to stretch the engine this time. I've been slowly getting a handle on the button image plugin and tried to make a whole mini game / crafting sequence in this one! Gained some grey hairs and have a lot of sleep debt to catch up on but I feel pretty happy with how it turned out. I know this engine is versatile and I think I'm finally starting to really hit the edges of what it's capable of doing haha.

But I had a lot of fun making this for the latest RPG Maker Horror Jam! The witching hour! There's some really cool looking games starting to be turned in.

Cozy horror is a thing right? Like in my head games like Dredge or spooky crafting games hit that weird niche. I tried to make a tea making cozy game with a horror twist, set in the 1600s.

I've been doing a lot of jam games the last few years and every game they get a little bigger and a little more complex haha. I kept this one limited in location but it still ended up being my most convoluted game, programming wise. But it's so satisfying having done everything. Even the font. I love making fonts tbh, it's good fun.

And I really need to step up my music game, I fear I'm at the point where my low skill with music creation is kind of bringing down my entire project. But I'm SO happy to be mostly done with this. I drank (ironically) a truly insane amount of tea while making this lol. I'm SO tired. But got it done in time.
