Has anyone seen a chiropractor for their dizziness and did it help?
Any pregnant ladies out there dealing with unsteadiness issues? Almost like a floaty feeling? I’m also squinting a lot and have noticed pressure in my forehead. I’ve had it for 10 weeks. I’m sensitive to bright lights.
What are your symptoms? I’ve started to notice when I yawn my jaw pops on the left side by my left ear. I have also started waking up with some ear pain, but I wouldn’t say it’s on the outside of my ear. The pain feels like it’s deeper in my ear. I just went to a ENT doctor yesterday and my ears look great. I also have noticed some tension in my forehead.
Anyone take magnesium for vestibular migraines? Did it help?
So about two months ago, I woke up and started dealing with some unsteadiness and floatiness. At first, I thought it was maybe vertigo because I was 25 weeks pregnant at the time and I’m 33 weeks pregnant currently. I went to my primary care provider and she looked in my ears and said there was fluid in each one and recommended I take Zyrtec or Claritin, but also do Flonase. I did that for a couple of weeks and didn’t have any relief so I went back to my care provider and she sent a referral for vestibular therapy and I’ve only been a couple of times but I am doing the exercises at home twice a day and it’s mostly gaze stabilization exercises. Throughout this journey, I have noticed that certain environments really kick it on such as grocery stores and fluorescent lighting. When I’m laying down in bed I almost feel completely normal and also when I’m outside, I’ll feel decent. I’m still able to drive but have a hard time turning my head too quickly to the left or right. My blood pressure has been completely fine throughout my entire pregnancy. I get it checked at the doctor’s office and I’m also checking it at home and not once has it been high or too low. I will say I feel like the last three days haven’t been as bad, but I also asked myself Am I just getting used to it? I’ve never had an issue like this before until I got pregnant, so I’m not sure if it’s just hormones and increased blood volume and fluid throughout my body. I have moments where I break down and cry because the feeling it’s so overwhelming and I sometimes have the thought that I’ll be stuck like this forever. I do have an appointment with an ENT in about nine days so hopefully they can help me. My hearing is just fine. I haven’t noticed any sort of ringing or muffled hearing but what I have noticed in the last four days or so is when I chew food my ear almost feels like it’s bruised on the inside with every chew. I just went to the doctor again and there’s still no sign of infection, but there is still some fluid. I have also noticed that when I hunch over, I can almost feel something running down on the inside of my left ear. And when I’m sitting down if I tilt my head to the left and then tilt it to the right, I can almost hear this slight little pop or opening in my left ear.
Anyone with EDT notice their symptoms get worse when they blow their nose?
How long have you been unsteady/not balanced with ear fluid?
When I sneeze it’s like I can hear a sponge sensation in my ear. Almost like suction. What is that?
Anyone have ear fluid but no hearing issues but also suffered from balance issues daily?
I’ve been suffering with some balance issues and “floating” sensation issues. i’ve been dealing with it for about two months now, but I’ve been using Flonase for about three weeks to a month straight I would say and I am willing to bet that it’s making my symptoms worse now that it’s fully in my system. It has caused heart palpitations and an increase to my anxiety. Has this happened to anyone?
