Tony Special Menu

Ik it’s all doom and gloom on here, but if you have a chance to get the Mac and Cheese on the Special Menu? Absolutely divine, and the movie is pretty good too.

Trich or no?

Howdy,
Ever since I was young, I picked at my nail beds. It usually stemmed from boredom in school, but I would do it to the point of bleeding which was more annoying than painful because then I couldn’t go at my skin lol. It’s gotten better over the years thankfully.
I think around late middle school is when I started to tweeze the middle phalanx hair of my fingers. It would be occasionally and only take a couple minutes. A couple years later, I was bored in class one day and decided to rip off my proximal phalanx hairs and ever since then I’ve been hooked. It got to the point of having no hair on my hands. The need to tweeze everything has lessened over the years but sometimes rears its head. I think it stems from more anxiety than boredom because the most extreme times were when I was in school.
Would this be considered trichotillomania or no because it’s only limited to my hands?

Islam totally isn’t socially regressive!

There was a Twitter post showing a Muslim woman refusing to shake hands with men when accepting her degree. One of the quote tweets was like this is socially regressive, which yeah refusing to touch the opposite gender for “impurity” is rather backwards no? But hey that’s her choice obviously nothing wrong with that, on the flip side people can choose to comment on why they think it’s weird.

One of the quote tweets said: “38k likes for saying a Muslim woman is “socially regressive” because she chose not to touch a man. Weird how consent, personal boundaries, and bodily autonomy suddenly become controversial when they’re rooted in Islam.”

Consent, personal boundaries, and bodily autonomy when talking about….ISLAM??? Are we being deadass rn?

Antisemitism for criticizing Israel

I asked a question to a couple Jewish subreddits, one being specifically for politics, and every single time my post was taken down for antisemitism.
The post was this:
“Hello,
I'm interested to see if anyone in this sub has read
"The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy" by John J.
Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt. Pretty good summary of the impact Israel has through lobbying in our government and goes into depth on the US' historical military and overall financial support for Israel.
I know a lot of people are gonna immediately cry antisemitism because these days apparently any legitimate problem with Israel or antizionism is immediately written off, but I think overall it stays away from personal views and objectively looks at the facts.
It was also published in 2006, so a little outdated but if anything it just hits harder these days lol. I wish they'd run it back with an updated version.
If this post gets taken down, then yall are straight up in an echo chamber sorry not sorry. I didn't break a single rule and I made sure to double check and read them. Not looking to start a fight, just genuinely want to hear your thoughts and opinions.”

Another time I responded to a post claiming all antizionism is antisemitic and I said the following:
“Not every criticism of Israel is antisemitism.
Conflating the two is in fact antisemitic, because every single Jew in the world is not represented by Israel no matter how much you want the world to believe the two are the same.”
Taken down in 5 minutes for antisemitism.

It’s genuinely like, how do you have dialogue with people who are so deluded and unable to face reality? also one of the subs had a definition of antisemitism and a part of it discussed that it’s antisemitic to equate all Jewish people with the actions of Israel…. Which is what I said?? It’s so fucking funny

Ulnar Nerve Palsy

Hi all,
I’m currently a 21F, and when I was 13 I broke both bones in my right forearm. I initially didn’t get a reduction because when I first went to urgent care, I was in too much pain for them to do a side xray. Unfortunately my bones were out of place for a whole weekend since I was on vacation in another state. When I got back I went to the hospital where they performed a closed reduction and put a cast on.

Fast forward to now, and I have not been able to feel the ulnar side of my arm from the spot where I broke up to the right side of my hand since I initially broke my arm. I can’t feel blunt force nor scratches or cuts. Hair being plucked from the area is the only thing I can really feel. I also have a bit of claw hand and wrist drop that has improved with physical therapy exercises over the years.

My question is: Could this be helped by surgery, or am I just stuck with this because it’s been a hot minute since I broke my arm.
