Is it permissible in the Hanafi madhhab to intentionally pray Fajr 10 minutes before sunrise (finishing before the sun rises) because of early school/work(so I can go there right after praying), or is this makruh?

The core question: Hosea 2:16 says “call me not Baali [my Baal/master], call me Ishi [my husband].” Isaiah 54:5 later calls God your ba’al [husband]. If Hosea bans “Baal,” why does Isaiah use it? Must Isaiah be later?

• Hosea (8th c. BCE) predates Isaiah’s main ministry, per biblical superscriptions and king reigns.

• Baal (בעל) = “lord/husband/owner/master” in Hebrew. Hosea rejects pagan Baal connotations + harsh “master” tone. Isaiah reclaims it positively as spousal love post-restoration.

• Isaiah 54:5 sits in ch. 40–55. Critical view: 6th c. BCE exilic author. Traditional: 8th c. prophetic foresight.

Evidence Isaiah 54:5 comes AFTER Hosea 2:16:

1. Prophet timelines confirm Hosea first
   • Hosea 1:1: Under Jeroboam II (d. ~753 BCE) + Judah kings → starts ~760–750 BCE.

• Isaiah 1:1: Uzziah–Hezekiah (~740–700 BCE), no Jeroboam → begins after Hosea.

2. Isaiah 54’s exilic setting (critical consensus)
   • Ch. 40–55 assume Jerusalem destroyed (586 BCE), Cyrus rising (559 BCE), Zion desolate → ~550–539 BCE

• Hosea 2 fits pre-722 BCE northern prosperity + Baal cult.

3. Thematic progression
   • Hosea: Judgment on Baal-syncretism in Israel (~750 BCE).

• Isaiah 54: God as faithful husband restoring broken Zion post-exile (~540 BCE).

4. Traditional single-Isaiah view still works
   • Even if Isaiah wrote it all ~700 BCE, his prophetic vision looks forward 150+ years to Babylonian restoration. Hosea 2:16 remains earlier context.

All scholarly timelines place Hosea 2:16’s context (late 8th c.) before Isaiah 54:5’s (late 8th or 6th c.). No timeline reversal needed.

So why did Isaiah called God “Baal” after abrogation?
