Anyone making any sense out of used civic prices, generally 4-6 years old, being not much lower than those 1-2 years old? Why would anyone even bother with the older civic?

Looking to buy fairly new soon, probably 23 or 24 year.. My 2019 lx civic( bought in 21) is almost paid off. Local credit union is offering 6% on 72 mos loan so long as credit score is above 740( mine 780) or 7% 84 mos. I financed through dealer on current civic 3.5% back in 21 but rates were stupid low then. Should I now even waste my time seeing if dealer can match or go lower than what credit union is offering? Im in ohio if it matters
