Is anyone using ChatGPT to draft contracts or lawsuits?

I'm interested in how you are using it in your daily legal work.

I've noticed something while trying it: getting a truly usable draft usually requires several attempts.

For example:

* a prompt can summarize a contract well, but the next one loses key details
* the tone changes between responses
* sometimes it omits important risks
* and sometimes even invents jurisprudence if not properly guided

In the end, what seems to save 10–15 minutes ends up requiring quite a bit of review to ensure everything is correct.

Where is the biggest problem today using AI in BigLaw?

The accuracy?
Confidentiality?
The billing?
Or simply the lack of trust in these tools?

Methodologies to ensure consistency and prevent hallucinations in AI-driven legal analysis

In the field of LegalTech, one of the main obstacles to automating analysis tasks is the lack of consistency in the responses provided by language models. The same contract may receive different evaluations depending on how the query is phrased. To address this, weighted instruction structures (WSPM) are being used. By defining a weighted hierarchy and operators in the instruction, the model reduces the generation of irrelevant information and maintains the same analytical criteria in each iteration. Here is one of the formulas used for contract auditing:

Analysis = (Verifiable Facts 40% + Contractual Risk Indicators 30% + Missing Evidence 20% + Difficulty to Prove 10%)

This method uses weighted limits to force the interface to break down the final report according to the assigned percentages, compelling the model to stay within the boundaries of the assigned context, which generates a much more consistent and structured result. How do you handle these issues?

Billable hours - software licenses in document review = data exposure?

The firm is evaluating alternatives to traditional corporate licenses for document review, as clients do not cover those billable hours. When comparing the performance of commercial tools against open-source models (such as Llama) configured in-house, we noticed that the key to accuracy lies solely in the structure of the instructions (prompts based on logical operators). But we have concerns regarding long-term regulatory compliance. How do they manage data governance under the GDPR or ISO certifications when training these internal models with the firm’s databases? Is it feasible to rely on a proprietary prompt architecture to match the accuracy of plugins like Claude without compromising security?

Which artificial intelligence systems comply with GDPR, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701?

I think Chatgpt, Gemini, and Claude only apply these features to paid plans if they meet the minimum requirements, but I don't think they apply to free plans. Ultimately, it might be true that if the product is free, then you are the product.

I'm trying to structure repetitive tasks in small offices using AI. The most useful thing so far has been contract review and responding to clients. What takes up the most time for you?
