I watched the first 3 seasons as they aired but I was busy when season 4 aired and then I heard the show was cancelled so I didn't bother watching since I had so many other shows to watch.

Now that I have some free time, is it worth watching season 4 and does it have an ending or does it end with nothing resolved?

FYI I loved Season 1, enjoyed season 2 but I found season 3 to be just okay.

I enjoyed it, but I didn't think the story wasn't cinematic enough personally. I'm curious if people think it would be received better if this was just a 3 episode arc of a new Mando season or do we think that wouldn't make a difference. Personally I think people including myself were just expecting a bit more from a movie. Here are some breaks for each episode I would recommend:

Chapter 25: The Twins

From the start of the film and ends when Mando is gassed and captured.

Chapter 26: The Fighting Pits or The Gladiators

Starts when Mando wakes up in the fighting pits and ends when he is dropped into the pool by the twins.

Chapter 27 The Dragonsnake

Fight with the dragonsnake until the end of the film.
