How often has SJM mentioned having to lie about Tamlin in order to protect the plot?
Quite often! Whatever happens in canon, happens (no one says otherwise). But if there were any truth to Bryce/the Horn’s story continuing, to more plot between Bryce and Azriel, or even more world-walking, is this something she would confirm in an interview? No! Anything can happen — but this is an author who was once adamant there would never be a major crossover (and later admitted she’d actually been planning it for years and years).
Feyre and Tamlin: “Oh, get over yourself,” I barked, and left.
Bryce and Hunt: “Get over yourself, Umbra Mortis.” With that, she stormed into the misty gloom, star illuminating the way.
Very healthy, very mature, much mates!
“The angels, she knew, used the term far more lightly: for the malakim, it was akin to a marriage, and matings could be matings could be arranged. Like breeding animals in a zoo.”
“You think Micah acted alone? He was a brash, arrogant male. All it took was some nudging, and he killed her for us. Had no idea it was on our behalf, but it played out as we planned: he was eventually caught and killed for disturbing our peace. I thank you for that.”

Rigelus tells Bryce, explicitly, that the Asteri orchestrated every single one of Micah’s actions related to Danika’s murder and the Horn. Including:
Micah murdering Danika
Micah assigning Bryce to work with Hunt to find Danika’s murderer (which leads to them living together and falling in love)
Bryce solving Danika’s murder case and bringing to killer to justice by killing Micah
The Asteri arranged the union of Bryce and Hunt: “Matings could be arranged.”
“Not as … soul-magicky.”
(And who can blame anyone for wanting something as epic as fated, multiverse mates — considering the “not as…soul-magicky” alternative)

How to commission fan art (if so inclined!)
Hi baddies! In case anyone is interested in commissioning fan art for Bryceriel Week (or any time!!) but has no idea how to go about it, feel free to DM the mods with questions or see the steps below. It can be intimidating at first, but it can also be really fun (and addictive🫣)! These steps may vary depending on the artist's process, but in general:
Choose a scene in mind and your budget.
Look for artists whose style you like and price range suits you.
Reach out via social media/Linktree/email/website. Ask to see if they're available for commissions and a brief description of what you have in mind with an estimated completion date.
If the artist is on board, they'll likely provide an estimate and the process for payment, getting sketches and updates throughout. Ask questions if you need clarification or don't know what something means!
Once committed, provide pictures and character descriptions for reference, including things like physical traits, clothing, setting, background wanted, facial expressions, poses, etc.
If you want any drastic changes (like the way characters are posing), it's best to ask for them at the sketching stage. Rendering is the stage where they fill in the details, shading, coloring, etc. and it's harder to make big changes at this point.
Payment: Some artists take half payment up front, the rest later. Some will ask for everything up front, and some might be fine with payment after art is fully done (with watermarks removed once payment received). The artist should explain this to you at the beginning.
Once artwork done, check to see if they want to be included as a collaborator on any social media before you share!
Some artists may require contracts/documentation of the commission agreement, and if you have any questions or want to run things by the mods to get a second opinion, just send us a DM! 💙🩷
