Has anyone with a 40th personally done a paint correction? If so, what kit did you use?

I bought a 2014 q50 premium and a 2015 q50 premium yesterday. The 2015 has Akebono but the 2014 does not. Was there a sport option that wasn't "q50 sport"? Or was 2015 just special?

I'm picking up a q50 and would like to have some better insight of oil pressue and temperature. Anyone know of a guage option that will give me that data but not look like a track/project car?

Any horror stories with ordering body parts from alibaba?

I'm looking at a duckbill wing and my logic is most the stuff we all buy most likely came from China anyways... so why not just go to the source.

Anyone order wings/fenders/hoods and how was the quality and fitment?

I've seen plenty of reviews from people who just installed their unit, whether it be nifty city or something from alibaba or whatever else... but ive not really seen anything from owners after a year or two.

Was it still worth the price tag a couple years later? Any issues with the OS and updates?

From a stop, light throttle, low RPM, i usually get this rattle sound. Like a baby rattle. Its hard to explain the sound but rattle is the best adjective.

My first thought was that something was causing ABS to falsely activate the front right. I even had two instances where the front right did lock up and TCS/ABS flashed on the dash.

I have hooked up an Autel and watched live data but wheel speed seems fine. No errors or lights. Just a sound when accelerating from a stop.

Any suggestions or past experiences?

I am moving forward to the second round of the interview process and one of most critical requirements for this role is getting Autopilot going.

My prior role was very Intune focused however due to the size of the company, anything hardware and imaging was solely managed by another team. So I basically know my way around every other Intune feature except Autopilot.

If you had a week or two to get comfortable for an interview with upper management, what would your go-to source be?

This is going to sound like a dumb question, but for those who work on your Z with a lift, what are you using to not damage the sideskirt with the arm? Pinchweld blocks or something?

First to give a background, I'm new to mechanics as a profession and new to the tool truck selections. So this is a genuine request for expectations.

Matco guy came by today and saw me using my current Milwaukee 3/8 ratchet. Its slow and meh but it was free with purchase of batteries at Home Depot so I got it back when this was all a hobby.

He shows me a newer ratchet (3053-20) and I'm sold. Its better, I need it, he tells me its $312 on sale.... I guess I made a face because he tells me "this is a deal".

I make my way to the truck and it clicks for me to ask does this come with one or two batteries. He says its tool-only.... for $312. For a 3/8 ratchet.

It doesn't sit right and I really don't want to get in the habit of making impulse purchases on a tool truck. I tell him I need to sit this one out and maybe next week.

So I open the home depot app and same model with two batteries is $320. Various online retailers have that model tool-only for $220. I can go to home depot right now and get the tool for $229.

Is it common for tool trucks to overprice tools like this? Not their own brand but other brands.

Or is this a bad practice by a single franchisee?

In the first time ever, my local store has every single g2 ratchet completely stocked. Has some kind of a sale leaked?

First, I'm not trying to start a HF vs Snapon or Milwaukee or whatever.

I'm looking for an honest opinion about using the Hercules 1/2 and 3/8 impact and the 3/8 ratchet for daily use at a brake shop.

Snapon is not an option at all. "Buy once, cry once" really isn't an option either unless Hercules won't survive 6ish months or so.

Anyone have daily shop use experience with those three tools as well as the battery life/longevity?

Im looking for the Flex Z install manual that comes with the coilovers.

Apparently Tein doesn't host the pdf files and I know ill find my manual 2 weeks after I no longer need it.

Basically I need the one page that has the measurements before you install
