Hello r/fountainpens community! After doing countless hours of research on this subreddit, I finally decided to pull the trigger and get my very first fountain pen and ink; my very own Pilot Custom 823 and Platinum Chuo Kuro. I went to a nearby boutique to test this particular model and immediately knew it was exactly what I was looking for! The fine point on this is a true Japanese fine and I love how thin the lines are. The balance of this pen feels just right for my average sized hands and the nib feels so smooth on paper. Very comfortable in hand. Not to mention, the cigar style body of this pen gives this a classic timeless look. No doubt in my mind that I made the right choice!
