Transferring from SSW sem 1 or year 1

I am about to start SSW in September. Does anyone have any experience transferring to University in Canada or the United States after first semester or year 1.

I just graduated from a high school that doesn’t offer university level courses, so I had to start at community college for post secondary. Of course I came across Laurier that’s obviously competitive, so im trying to be realistic with pathways to an BSW or other undergrads so I can just focus on trying to get MSW.

Also sorry if this question already gets asked was originally on r/socialwork and found this Canadian sub.

Shelter leaked my location.

The shelter I ran away to leaked my location so now everytime my mom starts raging she mocks me and makes fun of me because they had no beds 😭.

Idk what makes me more mad me being mocked or the shelter leaking my location. They leaked it because in Canada theres like a homelessness crisis so they try to convince teen runaways to go home. Then my dumbass took the shelters advice and did free family counseling. Bruh all it did was enable her for abusing me. I ran when i was 16 & now im 18. Unfortunately gotta stay at home while i go to community college.

Just wanted to rant on here like I did when I was 16 because no one irl wants to listen or helppp. Well some people at church but like theres so only so much they can do💀

I have to pay to get my final grades released to college

My school is on summer break hours and is going on break until aug 7. My conditional offer is due aug 14th. Only way to get it sent a little faster is by paying my school board $10 (which I don’t have💀) to have electronically sent to my college. I have a paper copy of my OST and screenshot of my report card and the college obviously won’t take. What do i do chat

Edit: thanks for the help chat, genuinely appreciate it. I’m communicating with the colleges admissions office and gonna go in person to show them i met my offer requirements and just need my school to officially send it

How to update OSAP I will be living with parent instead of Independently

I originally planned on living independently while going to college but will now have to live at home with my mom while I attend. My mom’s home is under 30km from the college so OSAP automatically assumed I would be a dependent student anyways. Does it make sense to tell OSAP I will be living at home (after they already categorized me as dependent). Im just really confused because under current status of application it states “your funding is based on living at home with your parents.”

Sorry i’m just very confused

NSLSC Didn’t ask for my MSFAA number (should I be concerned?)

NSLSC says my MSFAA is signed, but I was never asked for my MSFAA number (which I have). Since my MSFAA is signed does that mean I am good.
