Not sure if these are genuine
I buy up job lots of beads and materials for my hobby, and recently there was 2 sets of "Opals". One set is very obviously imitation as I know what Dichroic glass is and the flecks as definitely the foil. The milky white ones are completely different, seems to have a different colour flash in every angle and it does have fluorescence under Uv with a short glow after. But they are teeny, about 8mm x 5mm oval and look to be a calibrated pair. So small pictures aren't the best.
