I tried waxing my armpits for the first time and it was so painful I barely managed to wax my right armpit. Is it ok for me to shave it right now or should I wait?

Title is self explanatory. I (F28) just graduated in a Fashion Marketing Masters degree. I have a bachelor in foreign languages and international business. My dream has always been to work in fashion and I used my masters to specialize in it while still getting to know the basics of marketing. While school helped me develop connexions and many skills, my professional experience has been in luxury retail only. My issue is I can’t seem to find any jobs outside retail. I would love to work in PR or brand management but I have been looking for jobs in those areas for months with little to no answers. Now I’m about to start temping in luxury retail again despite promising myself I wouldn’t, because I need money. I’m starting to consider a career switch but I don’t know in which field.
