I've followed instructions on how to thread the machine, the bobbin. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. I just want to sew anything 😭

How do I attach a hair piece like in the photo? I am a newbie and need all the held I can get! Additionally, I've seen people print on fabric to make anime dolls 'clothing', what fabric best works for this? I use plush fabric for the face and hair. Thank you!! 🥰
