Looking for a drugstore bullet lipstick that’s purple/violet with shimmer, glitters or a frosty finish 🙏

My mom loves that kind of formula, but everything I’m finding now is matte, satin or glosses. Also struggling with the shade, most purples pull too fuchsia or too brown on her.

For reference, she loved:

- Maybelline Midnight Plum 338 (cool purple with subtle sparkle)

- L’Oréal Color Riche “Crimson Gold” (warm purple with gold shimmer, discontinued can't find it anywhere 😭)

She also prefers something more buildable, not super opaque in one swipe.

I added pics of the two lipsticks she likes (L'Oréal is the warm purple, Maybelline the cool purple). Does anyone know of similar shades or formulas? Would really appreciate any suggestions!

What do you think of countries that don't allow cohabitation without a marriage certificate?

I came across a post that was talking about this matter hence the question. These laws often include hotels, b&b and they're applied to tourists as well. I actually don't know how much these laws are reinforced in practice but I suppose some of these countries can be strict about it.

I’m somewhat familiar with hadd punishments and the discussions around them, how high the evidentiary standards are and how rarely they’re meant to be applied in practice. But that’s kind of why I’m confused about these kinds of laws. Is there actually a strong Islamic basis for the state to enforce something like unmarried cohabitation? Or is this more of a cultural/legal development over time?

I guess what I’m struggling with is where the line is supposed to be between personal accountability and state enforcement. Like, are things like this meant to be handled as private moral matters between a person and God, or as something the state should actively regulate? Not trying to argue one way or another, just trying to understand how people here think about this.

Any Bengali scholar with progressive views?

Often older people in Asian communities are extremely reluctant to listen to someone younger when it comes to religion let alone progressive views. My parents particularly love Zakir Naik who's almost a celebrity here and it doesn't help that his talks are dubbed in bengali and broadcast in our channels. I really hate that he's influencing a lot of people and they look up to him.

I thought about Ghamidi who's the polar opposite of Naik, not just in his views but in the way he delivers his speech too but unfortunately they neither understand Urdu that well nor English. I really wish his videos were dubbed in bengali though, that would help a lot.

So idk what I could show them... I tried looking up Bengali scholars but I couldn't find anything other than the same old conservative views. I don't understand the lack of progressive scholars here, it's strange, if someone could enlighten me on the reason I'd appreciate it.

I know there are probably some Bengali YouTubers that talk about these things but I doubt they'll listen, I'm looking for someone with at least some credentials.
