UChicago Maroons
Here's my take on the UChicago Maroons if they stayed in major college football.
The home and road unforms are fairly traditional. When I use this build, the white helmet is the primary and the maroon is the secondary and rarely worn. The old-timey white uniform is a tribute to Jay Berwanger. If you look closely, the maroon is lighter and I added a distressed leather pattern to the helmet.
The black and silver alternates are modernized takes on the standard uniforms, using a different number font, the phoenix logo and the school's gothic wordmark.
The field is self-explanatory. I have Chicagoland companies advertising on the field, side walls and tarps.
The program archetype is Smart School. The roster is a custom Air Raid that's decently fun but not overpowered. Rivals are Northwestern, Illinois, Michigan, Notre Dame and Stanford. Records are made up, obviously.
One caveat: I optimized this for the ACC. The conference logo is on the front bumper and the colors line up in a way so the jersey logo looks correct. It would be cool if we could download other users' teams and customize them as we'd like, but oh well. If you ask super nicely, I can tweak it.
(I shared this concept a couple years ago on a different handle, if this looks familiar. It's just been tweaked and - hopefully - improved since then.)
