I am trying to figure out if changing the OT (Jap Emerald) will affect the TID and SID making a shiny hunted mew illegal for HOME compatibility. I heard there is also a PID that has something to do with legitimacy when it comes to legality. I just want my OT 😭.... I used somebody else's save file and i heard that if 2 identical TID SID and PID enter HOME it will be flagged as illegitimate and i dont want my home banned as i have 500(ish) shinies in there... I dont have the patience to play through Japanese Emerald to make it all legitimate.

Any input is appreciated. I am, very much so, not adept at the math concerning the ID's. Thanks in advance.
