Is there a bot that can create private text channels without needed a voice channel?

Hi, i just wanna know if (like the title says) there is a bot that creates private text channels without needing to link a voice channel. Ive looked up and every bot i see uses a custom voice channel to create private text channels. I just wanna know if theres a bot that doesnt do that.

Hey, Top.gg here. We launched a new way for bots to get discovered outside of voting. Would love to hear what you think!

Hey everyone, Veld from Top.gg here. I've been reading feedback from y'all over the last few months and wanted to come with a potential solution for developers regardless of the size of their project! I’d love to get feedback from bot developers and general bot users.

We just launched a new Discord News feed today. The idea is pretty simple: creators already post changelogs, feature launches, and event announcements, but most of that content only reaches people who are already inside their Discord server. We wanted to give those updates a more public place to live.

The goal is to help creators grow through the things they already do:

  • Show updates in a global feed for Discord bots and servers
  • Give announcements their own public pages, so updates can be discovered outside of Discord too

So now, announcements published on Top.gg can show up in a dedicated news feed for Discord bots and servers. The feed is designed around recency rather than votes, with engagement helping us understand what people are actually interested in.

The hope is that this gives creators another way to grow that is not just get more votes or rank higher on a listing page.

I’d love to hear from bot and server creators: would you actually use something like this? And what kind of updates would you want to post?

Bot to announce if a word or words are used?

Looking for a bot that will react when a user says a specific word or phrase in a message, like the secret word being said in Pee-wee's Playhouse. Just want the bot to say "you said _____" and maybe a counter of how many times that word or phrase has been said in the server.

Looking for auto-reply discord bot for threads (need not be added in server)

As I am a server moderator, I have to handle reports regarding the issues but who handles them depends upon "first come first serve basis" so my fellow mod always replies very quickly. So today I asked him and he said that I am using a bot who replies "I will handle this case" as soon as a thread is created in the "Report Centre".

I asked him about that but he didn't want me to use it because of competition.

Therefore I request if anyone knows what he's using?? (Maybe something from vencord)

(I checked that any type of bot isn't added in the server)

Looking for a Bot that can help run a competition (recognise specific responses, add to new channel, lock channels after specific timeframe)

Hey everyone,

I'm running a competition in my Discord server which will involve users answering cryptic clue questions. I am looking for a bot that would be able to facilitate the following process:

- Clue A is posted in Channel 1 (likely by Discord admin)

- User posts response to Clue A in Channel 1 (this response is hidden from other users)

- If User's response is correct, User is added to Channel 2, where Clue B will eventually be posted. If user's response is incorrect, no action required.

- After 24 hours, Channel 1 is locked so new responses cannot be added.

- Clue B is then posted in Channel 2 by Discord admin, and this process goes on.

Is there an automated solution for managing the assignment of permissions to users for these channels?

Many thanks!

Looking for a leaderboard bot that shows # of media posted

Basically, a leaderboard bot that recorded the number of pieces of media a user posted. Anyone know of one? Everything I've found so far has been xp based or just post based.

Any good bots for levels with roles?

I was looking for a bot like MEE6 where the more you talk and interact, you get more roles and whatnot. I have Dyno right now but his thing isn't free. Is there any other bot that people know of that's free to use and allows this system?

Turn by turn Discord bot if anyone knows

Does anyone knows discord bots which uses turn by turn basis. I mean something like a bot where u can battle with the user and you have to select what to do and after the other person will make the there turn.

A basic example of this type of bot is : Poketwo (where u can battle with someone turn wise)

Doesn't matter what the bot genre is i just need idea and inspiration for my bot.

Why hasn't discord cracked down on the amount of bots??

I keep getting bots like this in my soundboard server and there seems to be no stopping it?? They keep bypassing and getting discord server links though that have the names "free cheese pizza" and stuff like that. Absolutely disgusting.

Scheduling Bot

Hello all, I've done a bunch of searching on here and the rest of the internet and am not able to find anything similar to what I'm looking for. So I'm guessing I'll need to build a bot from scratch. I'm just looking for some help (or let me know if this kind of bot already exists). Thank you in advance for reading.

I belong to a gaming community that plays online matches, pretty much daily. Something we do in our community to make things more entertaining is to "restream" the match. Player 1 and player 2 will go live on Twitch, streaming their gameplay. A third person (the restreamer) will take the stream from player 1 and the stream from player 2, put them side by side and stream that and commentate the match. The restreamer also acts as commentator, referee, and recorder of the match.

The problem we are running into is finding someone to restream the match. We have a huge number of players and a pretty large number of restreamers, but these are all volunteers. In a perfect world, the bot would be this.

The RestreamerBot: players would agree on a time to play, then submit that time to the restreamer bot. The restreamer bot sends these matches to a channel dedicated just to restreamers. It would have a list of matches that need claimed by a restreamer. Restreamers could then claim this match, the bot would @ both players and the restreamer. Something simple like this: 2026/01/31 1600 UTC Division 1A Player1 vs Player2 (Restreamer)

I'd like to add other things onto this (Syncing with Discord events, Google calendar, Twitch links embedded) but that can be done at a later time. I understand this might be better solved via outside website or program, but the community has expressed very strongly they don't want to move anything off Discord.

Is something like this bot even possible? I get the feeling that it would take 2 years to build this if trying to do this 100% on my own. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, I really appreciate any kind of help you can provide.

Cheers,
CoxDannyJ

I need a bit recommendation.

I need an economy bot, that has:

Chests/Lootboxes

Does percent*

Isn't: StartIt or Unbielevaboat

Doesn't have some weird restrictions like only 100k max per command

Isn't premium

*- by percent, I mean that it should either be able to: do percent, as a whole, or just add a users balance divided by ex. 20

I've tried Mimu, but it keeps breaking over time, and when I fix it, after some time it just breaks again. StartIt has reseted the whole economy by changing the incomes, custom commands etc., and the support didn't help, and Unbielevaboat doesn't have chests.

Could anyone help? I know these are BIG requirements, but I'd really appreciate it🥹

Edit: Gosh dang it I made a typo in the title and I don't know how to fix it now.

Do Discord Bot Developers Make Money?

Hello. I have been wondering about this question for a while now, do discord bot developers get paid for making a bot that isn't commissioned?

Realistically, does Discord pay you for your bot depending on how many servers it's in? Or does Discord not have any sort of monetization for that?

Edit: I have read all of your replies, thank you all!

How do I deffend this kind of attacks?

I have my discord server for over 2 years, recently some random guy was making chaos and I just banned him. Few minutes after I saw something like this

https://preview.redd.it/yr52vswmzg1h1.png?width=543&format=png&auto=webp&s=2284f4e38bd4130e8c19d19927f176fdb8f229a9

Everything was spammed, and I honestly don't know what to do. It last for over 2 days now and I don't have any thoughts on how to stop it. Can anyone help?
