I just got a Pentax Optio E80 used, and when using it in low light, the flash just will not fire. I'm getting a blinking red arrow where the flash indicator should be. Holding the fire button will focus the photo; however, when taking the photo, there is no flash. I've tried using new batteries and still nothing. Any ideas? I'm hoping I don't need to replace the flash entirely.

To start, my boyfriend of almost 5 years (m24) and I (m27) have been going through this for a few years now. We met at the university and have been inseparable ever since. We both share a love for hiking, gaming, movie watching and binging our fav shows. We are both actors, and over the past 2 years, my career has really taken off - his has had a slower start. He is very talented, and has booked some awesome projects, just none that pay or are union productions. That aside, we both help each other and support each other to the best of our abilities.
NOW - 2 years ago, I had a GUT feeling that something was going on with him, and I listened to my intuition and did something I'm not proud of, but happy I did, I went through his Google history. I found out that he had been on dating sites, having sexual calls with other random men, and using Reddit to send dirty pictures to other guys as well. We had a talk about it, and after a long talk, we decided to stay together, and even talked about opening up our relationship with clear boundaries and communication on needs, if external validation was something that he wanted to explore, if it was something he needed.
Fast forward a few months, and I catch him doing it again without my consent from me or having discussed it before... I said the next time this happens, we are over, we closed the relationship and moved on. He promised to seek therapy to aid the situation (this never happened).
January of this year, I caught him ACTIVLY sending a nude to someone on his phone with me in the room ( I was on my computer, so I guess he figured I was not looking? He cried and said that he knew that He fucked up and that this was the last time, and he was so sorry - I was in such shock and had JUST come off an exhausting acting contract - so I immediately forgave him and just moved on.
I can't look at him the same way anymore, and there is an obvious rip in our relationship. To make things worse, I know that he is still doing things online....
I leave for an away contract in 2 weeks - AITAH for thinking we should take a break, or break it off for good this summer before I leave?
This is my first time posting here, so I'm sorry if I'm lacking details. It's the full moon in Scorpio, and I pulled some cards that are TELLING me I need to address this situation and could use some input.
