What’s your ranking? Why?
Living in New York
Congrats on winning the championship. I had a few questions about living there.
What is life like in NYC? How do you afford to live there? Is the dating scene and social scene very competitive? What’s the biggest culture shock for people moving there?
Gambling
With the normalization of sports betting and gambling, I wanted to hear your thoughts on it. I'm only in my early 20s, so I'm still learning about personal finance.
What is your experience with gambling? What are your thoughts on gambling?
Corny
Over the years I’ve heard people call others corny, but it seems like the word lost it’s meaning at some point. Someone can call you corny for what you wear, for chasing your dreams, or for your hobbies. People said Michael B Jordan was corny before he blew up as an actor. That never made sense to me.
What does Corny even mean? Do you use the word often!
Gym Routine
Recently I've been hitting the gym for the last few weeks and I had some questions for y'all.
Do protein shakes actually help? Do you stick to one workout routine or switch it up everyday? How do you stay motivated when you don't see any muscle gains? How much does your diet matter?
Face of the NBA
Ant Edwards said he doesn’t want to be the face of the NBA: Here’s Proof
Is Wemby already the future face of the NBA? If not, what does he need to do to become the face of the NBA?
Hot take but I think Blarney’s is the best bar on campus
It always has a good crowd on weekends, Thurs/Fri deals are solid, and the vibe is very social. They usually play decent music, and it’s a good place to meet people and dance with friends.
The Kollege Klub is nice too. It has a huge dance floor, a large patio, and it looks amazing. The problem with this bar is the cover charge. The bouncers force you to download LineLeap and pay a $8-20 cover charge just to get in. I’ll go if I have a group but otherwise it doesn’t feel worth it. It’s the best-looking bar on campus, but I can’t pay $8-20 just to go here every weekend.
Sally’s is cheap which is nice but it feels very freshman-heavy and the dance floor is tiny. Feels more like a place to watch games than actually go out
Stub & Herb’s is chill but more of a sit-down bar than a going out spot
