Appeal to admissions

OCOM emailed me back and basically said my science gpa was too low at a 2.96 for them to consider me for an interview. They said the minimum to be considered is a 3.0 but there minimum MCAT is a 500 and I saw this girl on TikTok got an interview and acceptance to OCOM with a 496 MCAT. How do I bring this up in an email back to them? Is it possible for them to take a second look at my app because of this?

Am I cooked?

I take the MCAT in September meaning my score comes out in October. I already sent the primary app in for the schools I wanted to, just waiting on my scores. Am I cooked this application cycle given that my scores come out in October? Is that too late?

Should I risk it?

My MCAT scores have expired for the schools I really wanted to apply to. Should I risk it and retake the MCAT or should I just apply to the schools that will take my old MCAT score? How bad does it look to have a negative trend? So far my practice exams have put me in the 487-496 range.

What should I do?

I got accepted to NSU’s MS FIMS program. It starts this fall. I also applied to about 10+ schools and am waiting to hear back about interviews. I really wanted to apply to med schools this cycle so I did but since I was accepted to the masters program should I do it? I automatically get accepted to their DO program if I get a 3.6 gpa and at least a 500 MCAT.
