submandibular Gland pain
I had an ultrasound done. This came back:
There does appear to be a hypoechoic structure within the submandibular gland measuring 1.0 x 0.9 x 0.6 cm with ill-defined borders.
The pain is persistent and consistent. It has been there for years and was always dismissed by the doctors. Recently, I started seeing a doctor who ordered ultrasound just to make sure nothing is there after she tried to examine my thyroid and I was in pain. Well, sure enough, this was there.
Eating doesn’t trigger the pain. But washing my face/neck and touching that area sends a sharp pain. My right ear hurts as well.
I am scheduled for an MRI, but I was wondering if anyone had an experience like that.
