Picked up this awesome guy from aquarium, need help on finding the X with blood parrot if possible

Need help

Hi all I really need help on sexing these two, I'm getting mixed replies from aquariums and even chat GPT. I was sold the tbar as a male (top one) and the amatitlania septemfasciata (bottom) as a female. They've been acting weird like almost pairing up and beginning to breed but not no sure.

Hi all need advice on my female amatitlania septemfasciata and male tbar cichlid, they're begun the pairing up phase, but after her deciding on a nest she bullied the male pretty bad but he kept coming back hovering around the cave and sometimes she would come out and nip him on the body then he would swim away hide in a corner for ages then try again. I ended up putting a divider in to give him a rest cause he stopped swimming around and wouldn't eat

Is this a good sign?
