Phishing scam

If you’re lucky enough to still have your parents, make sure they don’t click on the email scam with the invitation. Spent a whole day fixing mom’s emails after she clicked on the paperless post invitation scam. I feel like it’s the perfect scam for old folks because they are so excited to hear that they got invited to something! 😂

Parent issue

Helping a student who successfully completed the 26-27 FAFSA with no issues. Undoc parent. Now doing the 25-26 FAFSA so they can do summer classes and the parent isn’t able to do their portion. Resent the invite twice and when they click the link and go to their account it only shows the 26-27 form. Any suggestions? Is it going to be the dreaded phone call?

eta: it just occurred to me that since this is last years FAFSA it may be that old issue of capitalization and punctuation. I’ll see if that works.
