Blind spots to consider?

Hello,

I’m the owner of a 2023 Crosstrek Sport that I got after someone totaled my last car. I like it a lot!

But gas prices have absolutely killed me, and after looking around, I can’t help but feel like a 2023 Solterra fits my use case. I’d use it as a commuter (less than 40 miles a day on average) and for towing (less than 300 pounds typically)

Thankfully the days of 12-hour road trips are behind me, and I’m able to fly instead. There’s a few Limiteds and Premiums for sale near me that would actually make me money if I did the trade-in.

I know that the charging is slow, I haven’t driven one yet and it might be that I don’t care for it in other ways. But in terms of practicality, why other issues on-paper might make me want to reconsider?

Sharp muscle loss leaves me questioning

Two years ago I started working out because I’d reached a weight of 271 pounds. I’m 5’6”. This doesn’t square well.

I hit the gym, get my reps, and by November 2025 that year I’m down to 260.

The scale hadn’t been moving really since August, so I decide to start the GLP (my parents have been on it and really appreciated it).

Since starting in January, my weight hasn’t budged, but I’ve lost about 5 pounds of muscle. I’m still able to hit my heaviest squat weight, but I’m worried that my protein consumption won’t ever hit 180 grams if I’m getting full so soon.

I’m worried I’ll end up with just fat and no muscle at the end.

Granted, I’m 4 months in now, but is muscle loss at the beginning normal? And will it level out in the coming months? I don’t want to just quit now and risk gaining more fat.
