Fresh Grad | ₱30K Salary as an Independent Contractor — Worth It?

Hi! I’m a fresh grad and I was offered a **₱30K/month full-time job as an independent contractor**.

For those who’ve worked as contractors in the Philippines:
\- Is ₱30K good for a fresh grad?
\- How much do you actually take home after taxes/contributions?
\- Is being an independent contractor worth it compared to a regular employee?
\- Any things I should watch out for?

Would love to hear your experiences! 🙏

Is ₱30k as an independent contractor good for a fresh grad?

Fresh grad here in the Philippines. I was offered ₱30k/month as an independent contractor for a WFH job with a foreign company.

For those with experience as independent contractors:
\- Is ₱30k actually good after taxes and paying my own SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG?
\- How much would I realistically take home?
\-What should I watch out for in the contract?
\-How does filing taxes work as a contractor?
\-Is this a good setup for a fresh grad, especially for gaining experience?

Would appreciate any advice or experiences!
