Salary as an IC Manager in MNC (Bank)

Hi. I’ve been working for 8 years total all in MNC banks. Now with JPMC as 601 Associate. I’m happy with the benefits, company branding, work life balance, and the team as well. However, I think my salary is too low for my position. I’ve been with operations my whole career. I don’t have any license/credential but I do work well in Ops. Got tons of recognitions due to work load and efficiency. However, I still do feel my salary is not enough.

When I transferred here my basic increase was only 20%, now at 75k, 14th month, performance bonus also on par with my salary.

Anyone here who also works as a 601, AVP, or IC Manager on another company? (ING, DB, Citi or local banks like Metro) I wanna know your thoughts please.

Just to add if you know companies here who can go as high up to 120k with full WFH or 2x office per month?

SAP Security Salary

Hello po,

I currently have 4 YoE working in the SAP landscape. 2 years ako sa 1st job (Basis | Security) then current job ko is more on Basis tasks with a focus on deployment/transport management (I know a bit of ABAP as well).

Plano ko sana mag focus sa SAP security pero hindi ko alam how much I should be asking. I'm currently earning 36k gross, is it safe to ask for atleast 50k net even without SAP GRC experience?

I just need a chance to survive.

My name is Stephanie. I'm 28 years old from the Philippines, and I've been unemployed for almost a year.

Every morning, I wake up and immediately start looking for work. I spend hours applying on job sites, sending emails, reaching out to potential clients, and continuously improving my resume and portfolio. I've taken online courses, learned new skills, and even offered to work first before getting paid just to prove that I'm capable. Despite all of that, I still haven't been given a chance.

The hardest part isn't the rejection anymore—it's the silence. You start wondering if you're simply not good enough.

I have experience as a Virtual Assistant, e-commerce product lister, administrative support, customer support, and data entry. I'm willing to learn anything and do any honest remote work. I'm not looking for a high salary. I just want enough to survive and support my family.

The reason I'm searching specifically for remote work is because I can't leave my parents.

Both of them are senior citizens and persons with disabilities. My mother was born with a clubfoot condition, and my father has Parkinson's disease. They both depend on me for their daily care. Because of their condition, relocating for work or being away from home isn't a realistic option for me.

Some days, I feel trapped between two responsibilities. I want to earn a living, but I also can't abandon the people who spent their lives raising me. They need me, and I need to find a way to support them without leaving them behind.

There are days when I quietly worry about whether we'll have enough for food or our daily expenses. I don't usually talk about these things because I've always wanted to solve my problems on my own. But after months of trying everything I know, I realized there's nothing wrong with asking for help.

I'm not here to beg for money.

I'm simply asking if anyone knows of legitimate remote jobs, freelance opportunities, or if anyone is looking for someone reliable who is willing to work hard. Even sharing this post, referring me to someone hiring, or pointing me in the right direction would mean more than you can imagine.

I promise that if someone gives me an opportunity, I'll do everything I can to prove that your trust wasn't misplaced.

Thank you for reading my story. I truly hope that one day I can come back to this post—not to ask for help anymore, but to thank the people who helped me through one of the hardest seasons of my life.

Writing this is one of the hardest things I've ever done.

If anyone is willing to help financially, no matter how small, please know that I don't see it as something I'm entitled to. I see it as kindness that I will never forget. My goal isn't to depend on others—it's simply to get through this difficult chapter until I can stand on my own again.

If you're not comfortable giving without expecting anything in return, I completely understand. If my situation improves, I will do my best to pay you back in the future. And if you're not in a position to help financially, I would still be incredibly grateful if you could share this post or connect me with any legitimate remote work opportunities.

Even being heard means more than you know.

₱25k salary for fresh grad, is it good?

I am about to graduate na po kasi and I am actively looking for jobs na primarily in the marketing industry since I am a marketing major graduate. May I ask lang po what is the realistic salary for a fresh grad? like to what extent yung dapat kong ma feel na talo ako and so on.

I actually received an offer from a certain company and 25k po ang offer sa akin. Is that good po to accept? But ayun as of now po, I am still looking for other opportunities just in case.

12 years as legal EA

12 years as legal EA (ONSITE)
BASIC SALARY: 25,250
i started at 12k, 12 years ago

On top of the basic:
Monthly profit sharing bonus: around 0.5-1 month
Transportation allowances - 9k
Internet allowance - 2k

HMO - (for myself only; no free HMO for beneficiary)
Complete government benefits

Can i ask your opinion if this salary still serves? Given my 12 years tenureship, i kinda feel undervalued. Plus, no WFH man lang, full onsite :(

Baka may alam po kayong same role, kahit under agency. Basta wfh. Pagod nako mag onsite :(

Finally made it in the millions club

Can’t really talk about this irl because my friends are already sick of me buying them iced coffee just to talk about my tax bracket, but I just want to share a major milestone. 🤫✨

After strategically job hopping (and ignoring 34 non-compete agreements), I finally landed my first role that broke past 1,000,000 / month.

Here’s my career path for anyone who wants to follow my "grindset":

  • 2016 – 2019: Freelance Birthday Party Clapper (₱5,000 – ₱15,000/month) Hard times. Got paid mostly in lumpia and cold spaghetti.
  • 2020 – 2022: Pandemic Pivot / Master Certified Zoom Participant (₱0/month) The pandemic killed the party industry. Pivoted into professional networking. I mostly just unmuted to say "Yes, clear po sir" and muted immediately.
  • 2022: Junior Executive Senior Vice Lead Solution Architect Trainee (₱190,000/month) Learned how to use basic Excel formulas. Got a ₱5,000 raise after I successfully color-coded a spreadsheet.
  • 2023: Startup Co-Founder & Chief Vibe Officer (₱650,000/month) We didn't have a product, but we had bean bags and a neon sign that said "Hustle Harder." Venture capitalists ate it up.
  • 2024: Galactic Director of Synergy (₱900,000/month) Onsite in BGC. High income but I spent ₱800,000 of it on parking, parking tickets, and daily oat milk lattes.
  • 2025: Remote Overlord for a US Tech Firm (₱3,500,000/month) Worked 3 minutes a day from El Nido. Contract work on the side doing "consulting" (answering 2 emails a week) gave me ₱8,000,000 peaks for a couple of months.
  • 2026: Entry-Level Prompt Engineer & ChatGPT Whisperer (₱1,000,000/month) My main responsibility is typing "make it sound more corporate" into an AI box.

Crazy looking back. Had multiple months where I could only afford 3 vacations instead of 5. I still know that I can lose it all tomorrow if the internet goes down, but I’m confident I can just manifest it all back.

Remember guys: If you aren't earning 6 digits by age 12, you're falling behind. No excuses! 🚀💼 #Grind #Blessed #Overemployed #SalamatSalamat

Due date payment Tracker App para sating alipin ng salapi

Hi guys

What do you think about this app? Helpful ba sya or may ginagamit na kayong ganto? How do you manage your payments like this po? Para naman kung meron nang exisiting di ko na sya ipush pa. TYIA!

Partnered with a low earner

I (27F) have been married for a couple of years and my husband (27M) is brining in about $925 a week. We’re in the South and I think I have been brainwashed into thinking my husband cant earn more. To paint our financial issues briefly, we have: 2 kids, close to 30k in credit card debt, a bachelors degree each, and side jobs. I make a teachers salary but my checks are very humble due to our health insurance. I take home about $1,300 every two weeks and am currently working on my masters. I’ve started serving tables this summer to pay down the debt. I’m at a point where I need a reality check. I may be engaging in too much comparison but I cannot feel slighted that my husband does not work in his degree field and also does not try to look for better work. He landed this job after being fired from another and promised to look for better work but hasn’t. He also started and stopped a masters. When I brought up to him that he had $12,000 in his bank account when he was 19 and has never even been close to that amount of money again he could not engage any further. I also brought up that he consciously opted out of retirement for the last 6 years despite having a freaking economics degree. I was trying to suggest that that be a wake up call to him and that if he could do it then, he could do it now. I just don’t see why my husband went down this path of indifference and lack of motivation. I am sorry to say that when I was falling in love with my college sweetheart that I didnt think he’d end up being a construction worker where we can barely make ends meet and would go in to CC debt to survive. I thought I was getting a lawyer, an accountant, a financial advisor… something. I fear that I got trapped with hope, potential, words, and a baby. I’m looking for advice in every direction I guess but mainly my mindset. I want more. I am working towards more. However, every time I look beside me it’s like I’m looking at my the man sabotaging my life. I am the point of wanting to break free or give him an ultimatum because he is not working with me and we do not have the same goals.

How much salary increase should I propose? Office admin + payroll role (Bacolod, PH)

Need advice on a reasonable salary increase and benefits package.
I am based in Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines and currently working for a security agency. I started as a part-time office staff while finishing college, then became a regular employee in July 2024.
Salary history:
Started at ₱12,000/month

January 2025 increased to ₱14,000 basic pay + ₱1,000 allowance

A few months later allowance increased to ₱2,000

Current take-home pay is ₱16,000/month (₱14,000 basic + ₱2,000 allowance)

Currently, the company is shouldering both the employer and employee shares of SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG. However, once I get a salary increase, they said the normal setup will apply and I will start shouldering the employee share, while the employer share will remain with the company (as required by law).
So my current take-home pay does NOT yet include deductions like:
SSS employee share (Php 500)

PhilHealth (Php 225)

Pag-IBIG (Php 200)

My responsibilities include:

Payroll processing
Monitoring and processing remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
Billing and monitoring collections/accounts receivable
Filing, records management, and document organization
Computer and administrative work
Monitoring applicant requirements and recruitment support
General office operations and occasional errands for management

I've been asked to submit my own salary increase proposal, and management will either approve it or counteroffer.
For those working in HR, admin, accounting support, or office administration:

What salary range would be reasonable for my role and experience in Bacolod?

How much of an increase would you personally propose?
What benefits should I be asking for aside from salary?
If you were in my position, what would be your target salary (gross and take-home)?

Would really appreciate insights from people with similar roles and experience.
