Hello. Can you help me how much should be my asking salary for the position of Finance Lead? Their job posting in LinkedIn says the budget was around 2M/year. Their benefits are the usual with bonuses up to 5mos of you basic salary. But when I told them my asking salary, HR said it was beyond the package but will definitely +20% (around 10k+) of my monthly salary.

The job is basically the same to what I am doing right now. The number of RTOs are the same too. Bonus point is it's just a 20-30min ride to the office compare to the my 1-1.5hrs transpo in my current office.

I told them how much I was currently earning so they already have an idea. But please help me how can I haggle this one up to at least the minimum of their posting because that was honestly my initial basic asking salary I was looking for.

We have layovers in Japan and Korea too.
