After a 20 year break i am back on a Beemer. Had a k75 then two K1100RS'..then two kids
Decided on a 2018 R1200RT with 34000 miles.
300 miles the first weekend on backroads.
Glad to be back and looking forward to some multi state travel next year.
I have been running around 95 psi in my GP 5ks size 30 since I got them..i guess cause narrow and hard were drilled into my head. . After reading about all about the low pressures in the new domane I figured I try some lower pressures. Grok suggested 68/72 based on my tube, tire and total weight. What a difference in comfort and no change in speed or average speed. Not going back

I like the Lachine canal bike path into Montreal. Ventured to st Joseph's oratory and mount royal.
Google was showing me a road that turned out to be a dirt path between apartments lol
