[Question] The battle of the sub 1000 chronographs, which one?
I am looking to purchase my first chronograph under 1000 (all of these land around the 500-700 mark.)
Which one should i pick and why? also would be great to know people’s second choice
Here’s what I’m thinking.
- The pogue speed timer. Looks pretty great and has a rich history, being worn in space by William Pogue as opposed to his speedmaster issued. Reliable quartz solar too and who doesn’t love a Seiko.
- Studio underdog panda. Stunning dial details and movement on display. Unsure on reliability of movement and if servicing would be costly, would be great to know.
- Studio underdog watermelon. Which colour underdog?
- Seiko speedtimer panda. Which colour speedtimer?
- Citizen eco drive. Haven’t really read up on this model but looks cool and thought I would include.
