In god’s name

Can we please get the grand ronde reservation some traffic lights. Drove from pacific city to Portland today, and my goodness. You can wait for 10+ minutes at some of those stop sign highway intersections, because the highway without the stop sign has endless traffic. It’s mind boggling

Anywhere to buy chipped beef/dried beef?

Visiting family in the mid-Atlantic rn and I’m always amazed at the number of basic, delicious things that aren’t on our shelves in the NW. For example, chipped/dry beef… does anyone know of a store that sells this? I want to make my grandmother’s dry beef gravy

Psa for all mid-Atlantic transplants

This week, I had the best cheesesteak I have had in the NW, at a food cart in pioneer square called the block. Pretty easily took the top spot in my mind, which previously was Moore Food Co. I thought it was a very good cheesesteak, adjusted for the NW region. And really good value, for $14 I got easily two lunches and that wasn’t even the biggest size. They didn’t skimp on the meat like everyone else, either.

I was excited when I found Moore, theirs is a solid cheesesteak. not trying to talk s**t and I hope they do well.

Any mid atlantics agree/disagree? Anywhere else I just need to try? I’ve tried Steakadelphia, Grant’s, Philadelphia’s/Thirteen Virtues, and more I can’t think of rn

Why is the grid diagonal?

This may be a dumb question, but why are all the roads laid out diagonal in this area? It seems like the only roads going somewhat close to N-S are 476, 309, and 29
