Moving states while homeless
I am currently staying in Colorado and I receive food stamps and Medicaid. Due to circumstances, I am preparing to lose my current housing and when this happens I plan to move to Massachusetts - I have friends and a support system there who can give me surface level help occasionally, but I will not have a consistent address and I plan to primarily live out of my vehicle.
Because of this I assume I won't be able to get a Mass state ID without an address in order to get my case moved. I am just wondering how I would be able to get food stamps in Massachusetts under these circumstances? Staying in Colorado is not an option.
Also if it helps, I do have a disability so I am exempt from work requirements.
Yellow lab/golden retriever, black collar, wandering around Eastlake Historic Park Trail. Very close to the train tracks at Eastlake & 124th RTD PnR.
On the train home today, I spotted a lonesome dog with no owner in sight. It is a large/medium blonde dog of unknown breed, with a black collar.
Posting this here in case the owner, or someone who knows the owner of a similar dog in the area might see this. The dog is roaming in an area known for coyotes, and is very close to the N Line train tracks and live wires. Please come get your dog, before it's too late!
