~1 week of continuously testing. I have heard about detectors interfering with each other but wanted to run the test. Both on the top of windshield, one far left, other far right to try and keep them as far away as possible from each other. I would unplug one or the other on some tests to see if it still pings the KA or not. This was strictly a “narrow” KA test. k band is non existent where I’m at and never had laser alerts during my test. Surprisingly to myself. The Valentine and R8 were within honestly barely noticeable to my brain reacting to them. With 80% of the time the valentine slightly having the edge on the R8. I still love primarily using my R8. But wanted to share, of a hats off to Valentines range, both were hitting 1.5 to max was almost 2 mile on identified target. No terrain or buildings. Most of my driving is on interstate so that’s where most of the testing was done

Hello everyone I have been chasing this issue for a while. No matter the coolant temp from 80° to 205° the second I turn the AC on the high speed fans kick on and stay on now. Has anyone had this issue before? Ac works fine it’s just somewhat annoying hearing a 747 under the hood lol. It’s a 2014 5.0

Hey everyone just got my new R8 about a month ago. Coming from valentine one. A few questions here I’m just not sure what is going on with my unit. I live in the south east with no hills or mountains. I have consistently gotten at best max front range from KA of .4 miles on the interstate and then seeing the officer. The rear will then proceed to track that same KA band for over a mile. Typically it just alerts right at full strength. I immediately see the cop pass me and the. 30 seconds later the arrows switch to rear. I’m not sure if every single cop hear is only running rear radar or what. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The only thing I can think of is it was placed right behind the little black dots on the windshield near the rear view mirror
