Yesterday I went to start the car and it would not turn over. At first it sounded like it might have been the starter because there was a single click noise when pressing the push start button. I replaced the battery thinking that was the problem, but the issue changed afterward.

Now the car does not crank at all and I no longer hear the single click when attempting to start it. Instead, there is a repeating clicking noise coming from the driver-side area near the engine while the vehicle is completely off. The clicking only happens while the car is off.

Lights/electronics still come on. I’m trying to figure out whether this sounds more like:

- a starter issue,
- bad ground connection,
- electrical/control module issue,
or something else
