I've been on effexor for 5yrs now. I think I'm ready to stop. My doctor didn't want to take me off my last visit. He wanted to increase it actually. I don't get why he would want to increase it. I haven't had any issues to report to him in years. He knows I'm an alcoholic but I've been sober for over 7yrs and I still go to meetings. I think I'm going to try the bead counting. Just looking for other people experiences.
