Brilliant Minds in KE, Lack of Opportunities

I am not a techie, I wish I was. But I've noticed there are so many talented people in Kenya building useful products, solving real problems, or working on great ideas but lacking the support to move forward.

If you've built something, no matter how small, share it below or somewhere. Tell us what it does, what stage it's at, and what kind of help you're looking for.

Even if no one invests, someone might connect you with the right person, offer guidance, or become a partner. You never know who's reading.

Let's give good ideas a chance to be seen.

What small manufacturing business has demand and great return?

I am looking for a small manufacturing business that can self sustain, has a huge demand and easy to get started in kenya with little income. What are the ideas as per your own experience/stories?

We can partner together if the idea is viable. I will bring the little capital/pay you off for the idea.
Desperate.

Telegram Demanding 200/-

So I am trying to login to my TG account and it is really demanding 200 for them to send an SMS claiming it's the fees.
I am wondering if this is a one time payment or it is a monthly thing?

How can one break the cycle of poverty?

Please don't mind my sentense structure but here it goes:
I have been in the contracting space for 4 years now and I have gained invaluable experience in it. The problem is that I look for contracts and give them out to 'contractors with money', and I'm using this sparingly. They get funded due to their bank account history. On the other hand, I get paid peanuts for my hard work.
This time round I would love to do the work or at least be part of the work. As you know, the saying that those who have money will be added holds true in the banking space. I cannot get funded at all. As for the people I know, they won't finance the deal nor would they like to partner up.
My query would be, how can I get funded for a supply contract without having the collateral? I would like to sink my teeth in the game.
Any advice or insights on starting out please? Thanks.

KBR 423G 'accident scam'

This scam has been running for the past 10 years. I happen to have listed a Pajero IO on Jiji and this 'lady' called me. I felt that the call was kind of masked to make him sound like a lady with an American accent but I could tell he was a Kenyan dude.

The day is young but I am sure he will send me pics of a Prado with a white cow lying down after an accident. He will ask for money too...if you search that number plate, you will get more stories.

This will be a reminder and a warning to the rest of newbies who will be listing their vehicles online.
