Porch bench seating ideas

Looking for some advice on best way to upgrade my reasonable sized porch with some bench seating and hanging space. I will have help from a joiner friend.

Thinking about bench seating storage pretty much the whole way round (bikes will be gone).

Possibly putting a wall mounted electric heater immediately to the left of the front door also which will be for just occasional use to help with drying wet clothes.

Hinged seating for some of the benches to help keep camping stuff hidden away and or baskets, shelves for shoes.

Not looking to put up wooden panelling on the walls ideally although am open to if it needed as walls are plasterboard.

Insuring a new BYD Atto 3 EVO, Excellence

Hi,

I'm going to be leasing a new BYD Atto 3 EVO, Excellence, through my own limited company and am collecting it at the end of the month. Absolutely love the car after test driving loads of others and have 100% decided that's the one I want. This will be my first EV.

I am trying to get insurance quotes but because it is so new to the UK market, it is not showing up on any insurance comparison sites or with any of the insurers I've tried directly. It is not even showing up on the BYD Care insurance site.

Has anyone experienced difficulty in getting insurance on a new to the UK EV, whether that's BYD or otherwise, and how did you solve it?

Might end up having to cancel my order at this rate.
