Job application closed then reopened

A role I applied for closed on Friday just gone, but it’s been reopened and now has a new closing date for tomorrow.

My application is still showing as submitted/in progress, so I’m not sure what to make of it. Has anyone seen this happen before?

Does it usually mean they’re struggling to fill the role, or could it be something like adjusting requirements / re-posting the advert?

EPA advice

I have my EPA tomorrow morning

What’s the general consensus around taking notes in? Is it frowned upon? Allowed?

I have created a Word document to help me out as I was told by my coach that it’s ok to stall, think of a good answer, look at your notes during professional discussion. I was planning on using ctrl + f to help find things to prompt me in my Doc.

Are you asked to share your screen? I’ll be having two screens in front of me

Edit: just finished my EPA!!!!! I wasn’t asked to share my screen so had my notes in front of me and was able to look at that from time to time

EPA Advice Needed (IT)

Hi everyone

Doing my Level 3 Support Technician EPA next week and honestly stressing a bit 😅

I had a mock earlier without my portfolio in front of me and completely crumbled under the pressure, even though I actually know the work I’ve done.

I know we’re allowed our portfolio/evidence during the real discussion but how much can you actually rely on it? Were people actively searching through their portfolio/project/notes while answering questions or is that frowned upon? I feel awkward being like “hey sorry one second let me just search my Word doc regarding that KSB”

Did anyone make a crib sheet or summary notes they used during theirs? If so I’d massively appreciate any copies. I’ve been told it can’t be excessive. I’m fine when actually doing the job day to day, just not great under exam conditions ffs.
