Should I buy a new cpu fan or reapply thermal paste. I haven't reapplied in like 5 years since whenever I bought it. I have it paired up with a 3060 ti. I have the stock cooler so I am wondering should I get a new cpu fan or would reapplying thermal paste help the issue.

Currently rocking 3060 ti, amd 5 3600 with 16gb of ddr4 ram. This ive had for like 4-5 years or so..? My cpu overheats in games like Apex Legends and Fortnite and my performance is quite bad even in most games with low graphics. Should I look into upgrading my cpu and if so what. Budget like 300€ at most.
