Don’t expect any more “different” lineups. There’s really nowhere else to go at this point.

There really aren’t that many new and genuinely different names left to put on the lineup. He’s already played some of his biggest cards, and Gambino was probably the best example of that, a huge and unexpected name that actually made the lineup feel different from what he had done before.

At this point, who else could realistically fill that spot and have the same kind of impact? Maybe an Odd Future reunion or anniversary show, maybe a whole night with Pharrell as the headliner, or something special on that level. But outside of very specific situations like those, there really isn’t much room left to go.

Eventually, you reach a point where you’ve already gone through most of the major artists who fit the festival and could still genuinely surprise people. So I wouldn’t expect every new lineup to keep getting more “different” or to have some massive unexpected name every year. We’ll probably start seeing more returning artists and familiar names, with the variety coming more from how the lineup is put together rather than from completely new headliners.

But what do you guys think? Who could they still bring in that would genuinely surprise you?

Why are people lying about Tyler playing unreleased songs at the party in Atlanta yesterday?

He was playing old songs from the ’80s and ’90s that people didn’t recognize, so they just assumed they were unreleased Tyler songs. If he actually played anything new, please tell me what it was and what it sounded like. Every video I’ve seen claiming to show “new music” is literally just older, lesser-known songs.

Now that God of War: Laufey has a release date, what are your biggest theories?

One of my biggest theories for the ending of God of War: Laufey is that Faye will actually be given the chance to return to Kratos and Atreus, but she'll ultimately choose not to. Not because she can't, but because she'll realize that she no longer needs to.

Throughout the Norse saga, Faye is arguably the most important character despite barely appearing on screen. Her death is the catalyst for everything that follows. Without her sacrifice, Kratos and Atreus never embark on their journey, never develop the bond they have by the end of Ragnarök, and Kratos never becomes the god that people now look up to. In many ways, she's the invisible force that shapes the entire story.

That's why I don't think Santa Monica will simply revive her. Doing so would risk taking away some of the emotional weight that made the Norse saga so powerful. Instead, I think the game will build toward a much more bittersweet conclusion by giving Faye one final choice.

I imagine the ending giving her the opportunity to return to her family. For a brief moment, both the player and Faye herself believe that she'll finally reunite with Kratos and Atreus. But before making that decision, she gets to see what became of them.

She sees that Kratos is no longer the broken man she left behind. The rage, the guilt, and the fear that defined so much of his life are finally behind him. He has found peace, accepted who he is, and become the protector and leader she always believed he could be.

She also sees that Atreus has grown into his own person. He's no longer the little boy who depended on his parents for every step of his journey. He's mature, confident, and ready to continue his own path, carrying with him everything his parents taught him.

At that moment, Faye realizes that everything she hoped for has already come true. Maybe her greatest wish was never to stay with them forever. Maybe it was simply to make sure that, after she was gone, Kratos and Atreus would heal, move forward, and eventually find peace.

If that's the case, then there would be no reason for her to come back.

Rather than returning, she accepts her fate because she understands that her mission has already been fulfilled. Her family doesn't need to be reunited for her sacrifice to have meaning. In fact, the reason it has meaning is because it changed them forever.

I think that ending would be far more emotional than simply bringing her back. It wouldn't erase the tragedy that started the Norse saga, it would validate it. Faye wouldn't be choosing between life and death; she'd be choosing to let Kratos and Atreus continue living the lives she sacrificed everything to give them.

To me, that would be the perfect ending for her character.

What do you think? I'd love to hear everyone else's theories now that we have a release date. Whether it's about the ending, the main villain, the Everywhen, or how this game connects to the future of the series, share your predictions. It'll be fun to come back to this thread after launch and see who was right.

u/Busy_Grapefruit_3923 — 2 months ago

Terem citado o Richarlison pra mim é brincadeira KKKKKKK.

IT'S COMING GUYS

For anyone who’s on X every day, they know this guy has NEVER been wrong so far. He nailed everything about J. Cole, Rocky, Drake, even Tyler.

u/Busy_Grapefruit_3923 — 3 months ago
